This entry presents the estimates for the Associated Private Nature Reserves (APNRs) to the west of Kruger National Park in 2009, conducted using helicopter-based total counts. This includes Mjejane Game Reserve which was not included in the 2007 survey, but was included in 2008. Sabie Sands, Klaserie, Timbavati, Umbabat and Balule Game Reserves were surveyed by Dr. Mike Peel of the Agricultural Research Council, with the results being included in this report.
