The aerial survey of Mosi-oa-Tunya, using the aerial total count method. It was carried out from September to December 2008 with a Cessna fixed-wing aircraft. The survey entry accounts for Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park but excluding the seven of the country's main aggregate blocks i.e. Upper Zambezi Ecosystem, Tanganyika System, Bangweulu System, Luangwa Ecosystem, Lower Zambezi System, Kafue Ecosystem, and Upper Zambezi Ecosystem which were surveyed using the aerial sample count.
