The 1995 African Elephant Status Report contained a number of errata. These have been fixed in the display of data found on www.africanelephantdatabase.org, but for the purposes of clarity, they are briefly outlined below.
- The summary totals for Ghana as reflected in the West Africa sub-regional table on page 157 are incorrect. The numbers as reflected in the Ghana summary on page 173 are correct.
- Additional small inconsistencies in both range and summary totals have been corrected in the display of data found on www.africanelephantdatabase.org.
