The large mammal survey, including elephants, of the Virunga landscape which includes the North and Central sectors of the Virunga National Park and the adjacent Queen Elizabeth National Park found at the bordering Western part of Uganda. The survey entry reflects the elephant survey results of North and Central part of Virunga National Park which was done in July 2010, using the aerial sample count method.
