This report presents the results of an aerial sample count of north-west Matabeleland in Zimbabwe. The survey, conducted in October-November 2007, included Hwange, Zambezi, and Kazuma Pan National Parks, Matetsi and Deka Safari Areas, Ngamo and Sikumi Forest Areas, and the Tsholotsho and Maitengwe communal lands.
