Two aerial surveys (during the wet and dry season) flown over the south sector of the Garamba National Park and Gangala na Bodio Reserve with total counts and correction factors for double counted animals. According to the surveyors the beginning of the wet season yielded more accurate results due to better environmental conditions for doing the survey. The correction factor was not clearly elaborated, thus survey submission classified as informed guess.
