The elephant estimates in six of the seven blocks in Dzanga Sangha Protected Area using dung count survey method. The dung decay rate was done on site with 488 dungpiles. The seventh block -Yobe-Lidjombo block- was surveyed using recces instead of transects therefore submitted as separately as an informed guess.
