The estimate of elephants from Aerial Total count carried out between 20th September to 6th October 2013 using a Cessna 206 fixed wing aircraft. The survey coverage was incomplete and varied from previous (also incomplete) survey areas in 2011 and 2012 and earlier, and may represent an undercount due to these missing areas. The elephant estimate was submitted as an Informed Guess with a minimum estimate of 1,538.
